Часто задаваемые вопросы
You might wonder if your struggles are “serious enough” for counselling. The truth is, you don’t need to wait until things feel overwhelming. Therapy can help if you feel stuck in repeating patterns, struggle with anxiety, sadness, or stress, find it hard to make decisions, or simply want space to reflect and grow. Think of therapy not only as a way to heal difficulties but also as an opportunity for self-discovery and building a more fulfilling life.
Talking to a supportive friend is valuable, but therapy offers something different. As a counsellor, I'm trained to listen without judgment, notice what’s behind your words, and gently challenge patterns that may hold you back. Friends may have their own opinions or advice, but therapy is focused entirely on you and what you need. Sessions provide a safe, confidential space where you can share anything without worrying about the impact on your relationships. Investing in therapy is an investment in yourself, your well-being, clarity, and growth.
It's not uncommon to feel worse before you feel better when we start talking about painful or hidden feelings. This is a natural part of the healing process. We'll move at your pace, and you'll always be in control of what you share. With support and care, those difficult emotions usually become easier to understand and manage.
Yes. Research shows that online counselling can be just as effective as in-person sessions for most issues. Many of my clients appreciate the comfort and flexibility of connecting from their own space. I use secure video platforms to ensure confidentiality, and the focus and connection we create online is often just as strong as when we meet in person.
