Individual Therapy

Sometimes something feels off and it is hard to put into words exactly what it is. Other times, the weight of it is very clear. Either way, you do not have to carry it alone.

Individual therapy offers a private, confidential space to slow down, reflect, and begin to understand what is happening beneath the surface. Whether you are dealing with something specific or simply feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, therapy can help you make sense of your experience and find a way forward that feels right for you.

My areas of work include:

  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm

  • Low self-worth and self-criticism

  • Difficulties understanding or regulating emotions

  • Relationship and communication difficulties

  • Parenting concerns and family relationships

  • Grief, loss, and separation

  • Trauma and difficult past experiences

  • Major life transitions and uncertainty

  • Expat life, migration, and cultural adjustment

  • Identity, belonging, and disconnection

  • SVT psychological support and SCT/BMT carers emotional support

You do not need to have a diagnosis or be in crisis to come to therapy. Many people seek support simply because they want to understand themselves better, make an important decision with more clarity, or live in a way that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches rather than applying a single fixed model. These include:

  • Psychodynamic therapy — exploring how past experiences and unconscious patterns shape the way you feel and relate today

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours

  • Attachment-based work — understanding how early relationships influence your current connections and sense of self

  • Systemic therapy — exploring difficulties within the wider context of your relationships, family, culture, environment, and the different roles you hold

  • Trauma-informed care — working safely and sensitively with difficult or traumatic experiences

My approach is always tailored to you—your personality, your pace, and your goals. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, and I take time to understand what will work best for you.
