My Services

01.

A safe space to explore, heal, and grow.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. You may be carrying anxiety, self-doubt, sadness, grief, or a sense of being disconnected from yourself or others. You may feel emotionally exhausted, stuck in painful patterns, or unsure of how to move forward, but you do not have to go through it alone.

I offer a warm, compassionate environment where you are gently supported in exploring your inner world. This is a space where all parts of you are welcome, your fears, your hopes, your questions, and your pain.

My practice is trauma-informed, and I integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches with deep presence and care. I am also a trained Brainspotting Practitioner, a powerful method that helps access and process emotions and physical tension held beneath the surface, often beyond words.

Together, we will work at your pace to better understand what you are feeling, respond to yourself with more kindness, reconnect with your inner strength, and build resilience, insight, and a deeper sense of self.

Our work may include:
– Breaking free from old patterns and building habits that support your wellbeing
– Exploring your communication style and learning new ways to express yourself clearly and confidently
– Strengthening your ability to be heard and understood in relationships
– Building emotional resilience, self-trust, and motivation to move forward

This is a space to be curious, reflective, and courageous, at your pace, in your own way.
Sessions are available online via Zoom or in person at my practice in The Hague.

Parenting can be deeply rewarding, yet also emotionally demanding, especially when your child has unique needs or challenges.
I offer a compassionate space for parents to pause, reflect, and restore their inner balance. Together, we explore ways to understand your child’s world, support emotional connection, and care for yourself along the way.

Whether you’re parenting a child with autism, ADHD, anxiety, or other special needs, or just looking for emotional support in finding joy of parenting, our work can help you:

  • Make sense of your child’s behaviours and emotions

  • Strengthen co-regulation and communication

  • Manage stress, guilt, or feelings of overwhelm

  • Build resilience and self-compassion

  • Foster calmer, more connected family relationships

03.

Every relationship experiences moments of tension, distance, or misunderstanding. Couples therapy offers a safe and supportive space to pause, listen, and reconnect. Whether you are hoping to strengthen your bond, heal from conflict, or find a respectful way to separate, therapy provides guidance toward greater clarity, empathy, and emotional balance.

In my work with couples, I combine therapeutic dialogue with elements of mediation and Nonviolent Communication (NVC), helping partners express their feelings and needs honestly, without blame or judgment. These tools support both partners in being heard and understood, creating space for collaboration rather than conflict.

Together, we explore:

  • How communication patterns and unmet needs shape your interactions

  • Ways to rebuild trust and emotional intimacy

  • Tools for resolving disagreements with compassion and respect

  • How to make shared decisions while honouring each person’s boundaries and values

My approach is integrative, drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and person-centred principles of empathy, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard. Each session is tailored to your unique story and relationship goals.

Whether your aim is to reconnect, strengthen your relationship, or part with mutual understanding, couples therapy can help you communicate with care and rediscover what truly matters between you.

04.

Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) can be unsettling, especially when episodes happen without warning. Many people who live with SVT experience not only physical symptoms, but also intense anxiety, worrying about when the next episode will strike, what it might mean, or how it will affect daily life.

You are not alone.

As someone who lives with SVT myself, I understand how overwhelming it can be. This service offers a compassionate space to talk openly about your experience, explore the emotional impact of living with a heart rhythm condition, and learn how to manage the anxiety that often comes with it.

Together, we will:

  • Make sense of your experience with SVT and how it affects your life

  • Explore the mind-body connection and how anxiety can trigger or worsen symptoms

  • Develop tools and practices to reduce fear, increase confidence, and regain a sense of control

  • Work toward living fully, even with uncertainty

Sessions are available online via Zoom or in person at my practice in The Hague.

05.

Group counselling offers a unique opportunity to connect with others who may be facing similar challenges. In a safe and supportive space, you can share your experiences, listen to others, and gain new insights, all while knowing you are not alone.

Groups may focus on themes such as anxiety, parenting, identity, or life transitions, and are guided with care, structure, and sensitivity. The group setting encourages reflection, emotional growth, and mutual encouragement.

Groups are offered when there are enough participants. If you are interested in joining a future group, please email me to register your interest. You can let me know which topics appeal to you, and I will keep you updated about upcoming groups.

Sessions will be available online via Zoom or in person at my practice in The Hague, depending on the group. Please contact me for information on upcoming groups.

06.

Therapy outdoors, gentle movement, fresh air, and emotional clarity.

Walk and Talk sessions offer a powerful alternative to sitting face-to-face indoors. Moving together side by side in nature can help you feel more at ease, regulate your nervous system, and speak more freely.

This approach is especially helpful if you feel restless, anxious, or find it hard to open up in traditional settings. The natural rhythm of walking can support deeper reflection and make it easier to access emotions, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.

We will walk at a gentle pace, in a safe outdoor location in or around The Hague. These sessions follow the same structure and confidentiality as indoor therapy, with the added benefits of nature and movement.

If you are looking for a grounded, spacious, and body-aware way to explore what is on your mind, Walk and Talk may be a supportive fit.

07.

Supporting a loved one through a stem cell transplant can be an overwhelming and life-changing experience. Partners often carry a heavy emotional and practical load, managing fear, uncertainty, and caregiving responsibilities, while sometimes feeling their own needs are overlooked.

I understand these challenges both personally and professionally. My husband underwent a stem cell transplant three years ago, and I have written my Master’s thesis on the lived experiences of partners caring for loved ones after transplant. This combination of lived insight and academic research allows me to offer counselling that is both compassionate and informed.

In our sessions, you will have a safe space to share your feelings, explore the impact of caregiving on your life, and find strategies for resilience and self-care. Together, we can focus on restoring balance, processing emotions, and supporting you in navigating this demanding journey.
