This policy applies to clients, prospective clients, website visitors, and individuals who contact the practice.

This website (www.sredmancounselling.com) is hosted on Wix.com, which may collect technical information such as:

  • Cookie and analytics data

  • Pages visited and interactions

Direct Communication

When you contact me via:

  • WhatsApp or SMS

  • Online booking platform

Client Work

When beginning counselling or coaching, the following data may be collected:

  • Personal data is stored securely in password-protected and encrypted systems.

  • Session notes are stored separately from identifiable contact information.

  • Access to client information is restricted to the practitioner (Stella Redman), unless disclosure is legally required.

Retention period:
Counselling and coaching records are retained for five (5) years after the end of services, in line with Dutch professional guidelines.
Administrative and financial records may be retained longer where required by law.

After the retention period, data is securely deleted or destroyed.

6. Data Sharing

Personal data is treated as confidential.

Data will not be shared with third parties unless:

  • You provide explicit written consent

  • Disclosure is required by law

  • There is a serious risk of harm to you or others

  • Safeguarding concerns involve a child or vulnerable person

Your data is never sold or shared for commercial purposes.

While all reasonable steps are taken, no method of data transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

Essential cookies are always active and cannot be disabled.

Online sessions (e.g. Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime) use encrypted platforms; however, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed beyond the security measures of third-party providers.

11. Children and Young People

The practice works with clients aged 10 and older.
For minors, consent from a parent or legal guardian may be required depending on age and legal context.

Safeguarding responsibilities may override confidentiality where necessary.
